Trent Peterson

Independent Non-Executive Chair

Trent Peterson was appointed as a Director in May 2026.

Trent is a professional director, investor and advisor through his business Catalyst Direct Capital Management. Trent was a Partner at Catalyst Investment Managers, where he led equity investments for over 25 years – this role is now part time.

He is currently the Chair of Adairs Limited and is a non-executive director of Universal Store Holdings Limited, dusk Group Limited, and Shaver Shop Group. He brings extensive experience across retail and consumer businesses, with a strong track record in growth and governance. Trent has previously held board roles with Just Group, SkyBus, Power Farming, Max Fashions, Global Television and EziBuy.

BComm (Melb University) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Dain Friis

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

Dain was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2023 and as a Director in May 2026.

He is a senior retail executive with over 21 years’ experience across global fashion and lifestyle businesses. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Lovisa Group where he was instrumental in the brand’s global expansion and growth, with a particular focus on establishing and scaling operations within the United States and other international markets.

Dain previously held senior leadership roles at Adairs Retail Group, MYER and Mr Price Group. He has led businesses across Australia, the United States and South Africa, bringing deep experience in scaling multi-brand retail platforms.

Melanie Wilson

Independent Non-Executive Director

Melanie Wilson was appointed as a Director in May 2026.

Melanie is an experienced non-executive director with extensive experience across consumer, retail, digital and eCommerce businesses. Melanie is currently a non-executive director of Web Travel Group, and JB Hi-Fi Limited.

She previously served as Chair of Baby Bunting from 2021 to 2025 and non-executive director from 2016. She has previously held board roles with iSelect, EML Payments, PropertyGuru Group and Shaver Shop.

She previously held senior roles at BB Retail Capital, Woolworths Limited, including Head of Online BIG W, Limited Brands (USA), and has held executive and business development roles across a range of retail and consumer businesses. Earlier in her career, Melanie worked at Bain & Company and Goldman Sachs.

Richard Whiteoak

Non-Executive Director

Richard Whiteoak led a majority investment into SkinKandy in November 2019 and was appointed as a Director in September 2022.

Richard is the founder and Managing Director of Whiteoak77, an Australian private equity firm established in 2016. He is the Chair of Zeus Street Greek and Avolution Software and a non-executive director of Sovereign Capability Group and Status Anxiety. He brings deep experience across private equity and public markets, underpinned by a strong track record of strategic value creation.

Earlier in his career, Richard was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, a fund manager and a medical doctor.

Mark Oliphant

Non-Executive Director

Mark Oliphant is the founder of SkinKandy and its former CEO, a position he held for over a decade.

Having founded SkinKandy in 2010, Mark contributes 16 years of foundational knowledge across expansion, brand development and capital deployment. His appreciation of the Company’s culture and entrepreneurial DNA strengthens the Board’s oversight of
long-term strategy and disciplined growth.
